De app biedt een laagdrempelige manier om grensoverschrijdend gedrag binnen een organisatie te melden en ondersteunt medewerkers wanneer zij hiermee te maken krijgen. Indien nodig kan er ook een anoniem signaal worden afgegeven.
About #Zouikwatzeggen?
Joking about patients, systematically ignoring an employee, standing too close to someone, making sexually suggestive remarks... Employees and students come into contact with transgressive behavior in all sorts of ways. But the number of reports of transgressive behavior lags far behind reality. An important reason for this is that students and employees in healthcare do not know where to report and whether the report has consequences for their education or career. That has to change.
Since 2021, the app has been part of the #Zouikwatzeggen? campaign and contains tips developed by a team of medical psychologists. Students, teachers, supervisors and employees can use the app if they are confronted with transgressive or inappropriate behavior, but also if they are taken into confidence or if they are addressed themselves.
The idea for a campaign to reduce transgressive behavior was conceived by Christa Boer, vice-dean of the medical program at VUmc. Originally, it was a PDF with a number of tips for when you came into contact with transgressive behavior.
Na deze eerste fase is Frismedia gevraagd om op basis van de campagne een app te maken. Nadat de app met succes in gebruik werd genomen binnen de geneeskundeopleiding van het VUmc, is de app vervolgens geïntroduceerd in het gehele Amsterdam UMC.
The app is now used in: Amsterdam UMC, Erasmus MC, Albert Schweitzer Hospital, Maastricht UMC+, Bravis Hospital, Sint Maartenskliniek, Haaglanden MC and the UMCG.

In de #Zouikwatzeggen app begeleiden we je hoe je om kunt gaan met een grensoverschrijdende situatie. Dit doen we voor alle partijen of je nu het slachtoffer, getuige of dader bent. Ons doel is om de situatie zo snel mogelijk voor alle partijen op te lossen. Dit maken we mogelijk door het geven van tips en suggesties. Mocht de situatie er om vragen, dan kun je altijd direct contact zoeken met een vertrouwenspersoon. Ook is het mogelijk om anoniem een signaal af te geven.
An inclusive app for everyone
In the #Zouikwatzeggen app we guide you on how to deal with a transgressive situation. We do this for all parties, whether you are the victim, witness or perpetrator. Our goal is to resolve the situation as quickly as possible for all parties. We make this possible by providing tips and suggestions. If the situation requires it, you can always contact a confidential advisor directly. It is also possible to report anonymously
In addition, the entire corporate identity is designed to represent everyone: After all, everyone can come into contact with transgressive behavior. Whatever your gender, origin, age or religion. We want everyone to feel safe to tell their story.

We do not collect any personal data, you use the app anonymously.
You can use the app anonymously since we don't gather any personal information. This is a great feature for a topic like this. There's no dashboard where the organization can track the number of users or reports made. We also do not keep a UDID (Unique Device Identifier) or IP address. Creating an account is not necessary to use the app, so we don’t have any personal details about you. Our privacy statement is straightforward and free of any surprises.
